How can I display and modify a record's Followers

At the top of any Task, you can Follow the record in Connect, but I'm missing out on how to get some key information.

1) How can I (itil_user) see the current list of Followers? (Is my boss or SME aware this is happening?)

2) How can I (itil_user) add someone to the current list of Followers? (add my boss or SME to awareness list)

I'm HOPING it's as easy as "Form Layout" and I missed something obvious. I'm interested i seeing this information in a view.

I know that I can do these functions within the Connect client (see and add), but I do not feel like opening the client every time I want to see that information that should be associated with the record.   Is it a related-list?

There is Collaborate part in left menu; in "Record Feeds" link you can display the tickets that you follow

If you click any of the records you will see the followers in the upper right corner. Like this:
