How can I send emails to group email mailbox, and not to all of the members of the group?

Hi SNC,

I know there are some topics around that, but I found no answer still.

Is there a way that SNow can send notifications to a group mailbox, instead of sending a TO messege to all of the members of the group? I am using MS Exchange distribution groups.

I am facing issue with excluding group email. I don't want the group email to receive closure notification on incidents. I have excluded group email which is assignment.group email but still SNOW is sending notification to group email.

there is also an 'include members' field on group, not visible by default, but if you ensure that's unticked then it should use the 'email' field in the group record if there is a value.

If you dont want to send notification to the use. Open the user record in sys_user table.

On the record down you can see "Notification preferences" . Here you can un select radio buttons.

Hi Harish,

This option would then mean that all notifications for that user would be deactivated, which may not be the best option.
