How can I send emails to group email mailbox, and not to all of the members of the group?

I know there are some topics around that, but I found no answer still.

Is there a way that SNow can send notifications to a group mailbox, instead of sending a TO messege to all of the members of the group? I am using MS Exchange distribution groups.

I have a similar problem in that i have added a group email address which works fine when an incident is assigned to the group but then if it is assigned to the individual, the individual does not receive a separate notification.

I have read this is expected but how do i amend it so the individual member of said group receives a notification once it is also assigned to them?
