How can I set up in-app, real-time notifications on SLA breaches, updates, comments, etc directly within the app and not as push notifications or emails? I want to get notifications about updates on external apps (Jira, Github, etc).
I am new to ServiceNow, hence, a detailed explanation would help. Feel free to redirect me to any documentation or blogs if necessary.

@AkhilK Unito supports integrations for ServiceNow, Jira and GitHub. It's a code-free integration that's fully customizable and supports bi-directional syncing between records, issues, tickets, tasks etc. so that changes to one appear in the other automatically.
I wrote this step-by-step guide on how to sync Jira Service Management to ServiceNow, though you can apply the same steps and principles to integrations between other supported apps and tools.
You can achieve something similar to this:
With a field mapping table that looks like this:
Here's some of our ServiceNow documentation from Unito's Knowledge Base and you can find details about our security and compliance policies here.
Feel free to reach out with any questions!
