We currently have field to define cost hourly rate of a resource in rate model. How can we define billing rate in rate model and use it for the calculations in Project and Project Task?
When we click on Rate lines in Rate model these are the fields we get ( shown in ss below)
How can we add and implement Billed cost of resource here?

The rate on the rate model is your billing rate,, why have another field for the same thing which introduces technical debt that’s not needed?

We need two fields : one for cost per hour of resource & other is billed rate per hour for our requirement. On rate model only one field is present.

There is an alternative way i can think, if you’d prefer not to extend the out-of-the-box logic, you can also maintain two separate Rate Models—one for internal Cost rates, one for customer Billing rates—and swap which model you point at each calculation. But adding a “Billing” Rate Type in a single model is often simpler and keeps everything in one place. [Just my thought]
Thanks
