How can we get premium Performance Analytics on personal dev instances?

Trying to gain a mastery over this tool so I can bring it to my customers.   My customers don't currently have PA, so I need a platform to showcase it.   No other platforms available besides my personal dev instance, but that doesn't seem to have access to the premium PA plugin.

Is there a protocol for getting this?

You can get PA on your dev instance by going to the Manage Instance page on the dev portal and Action -> Activate Plugin -> Performance Analytics - Premium and all content packs

ITS A MIRACLE!

Ok, hiccup time.     I did the instance management route and it states that the Performance Analytics premium stuff has been applied.

I can now see a new option to Create New Indicators.

However, when I try to add new indicators, breakdowns, etc, I get the following error:

That's probably so people don't export their production data in XML and load it up in a dev instance to generate reports... Which makes it really hard for people like me to explore new tech and convince my managers to buy it....
