How can we restrict fields in List Columns?

Raju Koyagura

Hi All,

I have 'n' number of fields available in "Available" area of "Personalize List Columns" and 'm' number of fields available in "Selected" area. I wanted to restrict (not to show) some fields in "Available" section, that means those fields should not be set as "List Columns". Can anyone guide me how can I achieve this?Personalize Columns.PNG

Raju

Hey Das, it is solved by using ACL operation called 'add_to_list'. Thank you.

Hi Raju,

You will have to secure your undesired columns through ACLs and restrict Read and Report Access on them.

Thanks for the quick response, Das. I appreciate it. I'll try on that way

and let you know, if there is any issue. Once again thank you.

Not applicable

Hi Raju,

I have same kind of requirement and i have created add_to_list ACL with specific field like for example table name and field .

But for me still it's allowing to add column to list view.

Could you please let me know what is missing here
