How could a user cloesd the task without filling the mandatory field.

I have a issue a user cloesd a task without filling the task mandatory field. is this possible please let me know.

Yes, It is possible to close the task through various ways without filling the mandatory fields on the form.

1) If user has admin role then he will be able to do this through background scripts,fix scripts, flows etc.

2)If user has itil role then kindly check whether user is updating the state through list edit ;

No,they have no right to edit list .

If user has no right then check business rules on those table if any business rule closing the task
