How do I delete an action in flow designer?

I'm trying to delete an action I made in the flow designer but it is not letting me. When I try to delete the record, I get a error message. I have tried to delete all related records but I can't find out what the action intance file is. Someone please help!

If you open the flow in Flow designer and hover over the action, you should see some icons on the right hand side.  One is a trash can.  Clicking that is the best way to delete anything from a flow since that should know what is involved in the full deletion.

Where you able to found out the reason for those error messages when trying to remove an Action from Flow Editor? I'm getting the same error, and I have checked and none of my flows are using that Action.

I run into this very same issue when deleting action in flow designer.  

Since my actions are in my custom application scope, so I thought I would try deleting my custom application to see if that would help get rid of the actions.  What happen was that the application deletion process was not successful with a message telling me to delete the remaining files manually.  To my horror, the actions were still there listed in the Actions tab with Application being empty. Is this a system bug or did we do something wrong?  

I notice that the some actions did get deleted in the process and I believe those were the one I haven't run test using the Test button.  Any one has any insight how to get rid of the Action instance file reference?

Got the same problem for New York instance. I guess it is a Flow Designer bug. Sad that we have not got any response of ServiceNow representative yet 😞
