How does CI affected notification works?

I have raised an incident in my personal instance with CI which i already subscribed for notifications but notification is not getting triggered.

However, Event "ci.affected" is getting processed.

Can someone help me understand what i am missing?

Hello,

 

The fact that this is not specific to a table poses concerns for security incidents. Indeed when an analyst affects a CI has a SIR incident, the CI affected notification is triggered.

How to avoid this? 

The affected user should not be aware of the existence of a security incident.  Thanks
