How to add a list of announcements in the backend of ServiceNow?

Hi All,

Client have a need to see announcements/messages in a dashboard/widget in the back end (not in the portal).

They normally have 500+ announcements (messages) to the internal IT team and they don´t want this to be shown in the portal. Instead they asked for a "dashboard" type of list where this announcements would be published and viewed/consulted by the IT community.

We are trying to use the announcements module defining an internal widget/dashboard as a destination.

has anyone have a suggestion on how to better accomplished this?

Will this show 500+ messages in a list in a way they can be consulted/seen? Will this be possible to insert in a dashboard widget? Messages will not be related to critical incidentes as these will be added in the portal as usual.

This sounds a lot like the functionality you have in the Service Operations Workspace, where you can share these announcements to the specific teams working in the workspace. Of course it requires you to adapt and impement a new way of working, but I can recommend it 🙂
