How to add "Save Producer" on Record Producer?

On the Record Producer, you have a button called "Try It" and it takes you to the form where you can add values. In there, you can choose to "Save Producer" which allows you to put a draft to your wish list.

We have a button called "Try It In Portal" where the user will now be in the Service Portal view of their Record Producer. There, they can add values to the form. However, there is no "Save Producer" button. How can this be enabled?

On another note, how can we enable more than one draft of the same Record Producer? The wish list only has one draft per record producer.

Hi,

Here's the documentation for enabling wish list for portal: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-servicenow-platform/page/build/service-portal/task/enable-wi...

You'd also want to ensure that the catalog itself (not the item) has the enable wish list functionality enabled:

For your second question, out of box, you can only add one item of the same to your wish list. Even if you refresh the record producer and come back, it'll look like you can add another one, but upon add to wish list, only the same 1 will remain.

Hey! Thanks for the informative reply!

I've already followed those steps, but no "Add to Wish List" or "Save Producer" is displayed.

Good to know! If I'm able to get the Wish List / Save Producer enabled, I might look into customizing how this is structured to allow multiple.

Hi,

My apologies that my reply above was not Helpful...

We don't know what you've tried, unless you tell us? Please always give as much information as you can in your original post, else you run the risk of hearing stuff you've already tried and then we accidentally waste our time as well.

At this point, there's nothing else I can suggest as I covered the enablement from the portal perspective in the link and then added the catalog category enablement for wish list which is commonly missed.
