How to add update set picker to header (Tokyo)

I'm struggling to find a global property to show the app/update set picker in the header in Tokyo.

In Quebec, I see it in the header, plain as day.

In Tokyo, we have to click on the globe to see where we are. This is fine, however, I have a hard time as it is trying to make sure I'm in the right update set when making changes especially if I have multiple things going on.

There's a Chrome extension we can use but we are self hosted and do  not have access to the SNUtils plug in. We'd also like to see the app/update set picker in ALL web browsers, not just chrome.

Any recommendations?

Yes, @Anish Reghu Can you please give a more complete Solution?

Where is the UI Macro attached?  Where does it show up?  Screenshot, please?

Thank you!!

@Anish Reghu

Any updates you can provide us?

Dear both,

unfortunately not.

I tried it on my PDI. There was a system property earlier named - glide.ui.update_set_picker.enabled - I don't see it now.

However I noticed two UI macros - ui_update_set_picker - if these could lead you to a solution, please do update. Interested in this thread. May be tweaking the existing macro should help, but need to be careful.

Kindly mark the response as Correct or Helpful.

Cheers,

Anish

Thanks Anish. I was afraid this would be the case.

@Servicenow: get the update set picker back in the header!

If anyone wants to use the update picker in Tokyo, you have to enable a property that will allow you to choose between the Next Gen view or the old view:
