Hi all,
I'm trying to use the e-signature plugin on requested items or catalog tasks. I need the users to be able to sign a declaration before receiving an item.
I've got the plugin installed, templates made, the spot on the form to apply them, just like the HR examples. I can see e-signature history. What I can't do is figure out how to trigger the request for the user to sign, or where that would be located.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it even possible?
Thanks

Yeah, I got it figured out. I was doing this for catalog tasks, but I think the same steps will apply to everything else.
You have to make sure that Assigned to, E-signature template, and E-signature document are populated. The change the state to Work in progress. If you view as the Assigned to, a Sign document button will be visible in the header. I've been having issues with E-signature document de-populating so make sure to check that doesn't happen to you.
It's very simple, but took me a long time to figure out with the limited documentation.

Also, is there an e-signature log that the signed document goes into? I got it working and after the document is signed, it uploads the document as an attachment onto the task. But when I view the document is doesn't show that it has been signed, where can I see the signature?

The document is not signed but found this helpful. Signature is visible in signature_image table.

Hi Andrew,
I went through your post, can you please let me know, what all steps you followed for this?
My requirement is to bring digital signature on case form whenever assignment group or assigned to changes.
Thanks & Regards,
Reena Kumari
