How to Attach Epics/Agile data to Projects/Portfolios

I need to be able to link Agile methodologies to current projects. For instance, I have a project that includes creating an application within ServiceNow. The team uses the agile methodology for all of its s/w development. If I want to utilize the Agile capabilities within ServiceNow, how do I then attach my agile epics/user stories/release information etc to the overall project that this task falls under? I'm looking through some of the pre-populated data in my PDI and I don't see any links between the agile stuff and projects. Thanks!

Denise, I think I have a similar question and/or dilemma.   I have teams that are working out of Stories and Sprints (Agile Dev module) and also get project tasks from our PMO that recently implemented the Project Portfolio Suite.   They are trying to use Resource Plans and it is NOT working!   We are on Jakarta, but not on the Agile Dev 2.0 plug-in (yet).   So what is the best way for me to get a list of all my team's Projects and Stories together?   Project records only have an association to Stories like Enhancements due, so I can't figure out a way to run a report that shows me "all projects containing stories associated with XYZ Product".   Not all of our Stories are in Projects.   Some are one-off and others are in a separate enhancement release monthly.

Anthony - are you using Assignment groups? If you are and you have that filled in on your project form you should be able to pull all project stories and Agile stories based on Assignment Group. It's not a break down of what goes with project vs. with basic agile, but it gives you a starting point.

You just need to create a story and then set the project and the epic fields and this will link the epic to the project such that the epic shows in the epics related list of the project.
