I want to bring approval groups from impact and affected ci in change request .those approvals should come as common approval at authorize stage. How to configure do we need to do this via change polices or is there any way to achieve this .

Hi @Mounika B1
It’s not that simple. You’ll need to build the logic in a way that first collects all the affected CIs into an array, then loops through them to identify their respective groups. If a group is common across multiple CIs, it should be counted as one. After that, you can build the policy to add the required approvals — but keep in mind, there could be more than one group involved.

No, changing the policy won’t work because there can be many CIs at a given point in time. You need to build logic in the BR/report. We did something similar 3–4 years ago. You can also explore Dynamic CI Groups.
