Hi Team,

Can anyone help me on the CMDB health dashboard?

Currently in my dashboard, there is no score card; it's empty, so I want to configure any sample dashboard like the attached image.

Could you please tell me how I can add the conditions and where I should add them?

I am very new to the CMDB module. Please have anyone help me on this.

Thanks,

Sasipriya.

Hi Sasipriya

It's possible that you're not using the correct settings or options to add a widget with conditions to your dashboard. Here are some steps you can follow to add a widget with conditions:

  1. Access the dashboard where you want to add the widget.
  2. Click on the "Add Widget" button or the "+" button to open the widget selector.
  3. Select the type of widget you want to add.
  4. In the widget configuration panel, look for the option to add conditions or filters. This may be labeled as "Conditions," "Filters," or something similar.
  5. Click on the "Add Condition" or "Add Filter" button to start defining your conditions.
  6. Select the field you want to use as the basis for your condition. This may be a metric, dimension, or other type of data.
  7. Choose the operator you want to use to compare the field with a value or another field. This may include operators such as "equals," "not equals," "contains," "greater than," "less than," and so on.
  8. Enter the value or select the field you want to compare the field to.
  9. Repeat steps 6-8 as needed to define additional conditions.
  10. Click "Apply" or "Save" to save your changes and add the widget to your dashboard.

If you're still having trouble adding a widget with conditions, you may want to consult your system documentation or contact your system administrator for assistance.

Hi Sasipriya,

Sure, I can help you with that.

To add conditions to the CMDB Health dashboard, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the CMDB Health dashboard by searching for "CMDB Health" in the navigation filter.

  2. Click on the "Configure" button at the top of the dashboard.

  3. Click on the "Add Widget" button.

  4. Select the "Scorecard" widget.

  5. Configure the widget by giving it a title and selecting the appropriate table and fields.

  6. In the "Conditions" tab, add the conditions you want to use to filter the data displayed in the widget.

For example, to show the number of servers with a status of "Operational" and a "Priority" of "1 - Critical", you would add the following conditions:

  • Status is Operational
  • Priority is 1 - Critical
  1. Click "Save" to save the widget.

Repeat these steps for each scorecard widget you want to add to the dashboard. You can add multiple scorecard widgets to the dashboard to display different sets of data.

Once you have added the widgets, you can rearrange them by dragging and dropping them to the desired location on the dashboard. You can also resize the widgets by clicking and dragging the edges of the widget.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi Rahul,

Thank you so much for your reply back to me.

Here, I am unable to set the conditions in the add widget because if I hit the add button, it is directly added to the dashboard.

Could you please correct me if I am doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Sasipriya.
