How to create a reminder for SLAs that are close to being breached?

Hello Everyone,
Has anyone successfully setup reminder notifications for their technicians when their SLA's are close to being breached?   We have a working notification that fires off when an SLA is breached, but we would like to add ONE reminder notification.   For example, if the SLA's 'Business Elapsed Percentage' reaches 75%, the notification fires off to the technician.   I thought it would be as simple as modifying our current SLA notification and just adding a condition on there, but that doesn't seem to work.   Any ideas?

Typically the notifications come from the workflow that is attached to the SLA definition. Seems like you could check for a schedule, add a timer (75%), and trigger your notification there. Something like:
