How to create a stock price ticker widget?

Hi all,

I'm seeing that the "Stock" widget has been discontinued with the London release because the Yahoo Finance API has been discontinued.  I've got a requirement to have this feature on a portal homepage to show the org's stock price.  Has anyone built something custom they could share?  Thanks!

Hi Mike,

thanks for the link.  Is this something you've ever installed on an instance?  Wondering about the API key...any risks with this setup?  Just not familiar with "Alpha Vantage"...is this trustworthy?
