Hello Ram,
Create a change request
1>>Create the change request with one of these options.
you can create all three types of change from the Change module.
- Navigate to Change > Create New.
- Select Normal, Emergency, or Standard changes.
You can create only normal or emergency changes from an incident or a problem.
- Open the incident or problem.
- Right-click the form header and select Create Normal Change or Create Emergency Change.
If the administrator enabled the change request copy option, you can create a new change by copying an existing change record.
- Open the change record that you want to copy.
- Click Copy Change.
2>>On the form, fill in the fields.
3>>To plan the Change, click the Planning tab and enter information.
- Enter as much information about the scheduled dates as you have.
5>>Click the Conflicts tab.
6>>To detect change conflicts, click Check conflicts.
7>>Right-click the form header and click Save.
8>>Review entries in the related lists and modify the entries as appropriate.
Procedure of change:--
Approve or reject a change request:
Open the approval record and click Approve to approve the change request or Reject to reject it.
The change request changes to the Scheduledstate if it is approved or to New state if it is rejected.
The change request state changes toImplement. The workflow creates two change tasks: Implement and Post-implementation testing. Review the change tasks and assign them to a user or group, as appropriate.
Review a change request:-
Click Review after reviewing the details on the change request.
The change request is moved to the Reviewstate. All open change tasks are set to Canceled.
Close a change request:
Click Close after entering the Close codeand Close notes in the Closure Information section.
The change request is closed.
Cancel a change request:
From the context menu, click Cancel Change. Provide a reason for canceling the change and click Save.
The change request is canceled and the reason for canceling the change is added to the Work Notes field.
