How to customize pdf document template

Hi All/ @Mohith Devatte / @Sandeep Dutta ,

We have task that contains pdf  document template. We create task as a HR template.

We have followed this steps for creation HR Pdf document template.

Configuration Steps Performed:   1. Managed Documents >> Create New >> (Our Document).

                                                          2. Related link >> Upload/Check Revision >>  (Our Latest Version with the attached document format).

                                                          3. HR Administration >> HR Document Templates >> (Our template) >> Document Revision selected as the one in Step 2 above.

                                                          4. Mark Signatures UI action to mark the signatures for our HR Task going forward.

                                                          5. HR Administration >> HR Services > HR Service Configuration > (Our HR Service) >> In the Case template >> Marked PDF Template as created in Step 3.

                                                          6. Created Offer Letter review Service Activity as HR Task Type >> E-Signature

 

 

 

In this pdf template some fields we need to populate date from some sources i.e. from record producer fields, from others HR table and third party tool.

We have activated EDM. so using EDM can we mapping those pdf documents field details and able to populate data on pdf template. If possible please provide me the steps and all. Please find my attached screenshot.

is there anyway to customize pdf document template for Human resource scope application ?Please guide me. Quick update is much appriate.

Hi Absnow,

A PDF document template originates from a fillable PDF or a standard PDF with inline signatures. Using the PDF document template, you can collect details and e-signatures from multiple participants, review, and generate a filled PDF document.

Important:
You can create a PDF document template either:
  • uploading a fillable, editable PDF document into the form.
  • using a PDF from Managed Documents.
The following flow describes how you can use a PDF document template from configuring the template until filling, signing, reviewing, and generating a PDF document.
Note: This content applies only to the document templates that are created in the Document Templates application (sn_doc). Document Templates is different from HR Document Templates. For HR Document Templates, refer to HR document templates.

Hi Sandeep,

For Letter generation we have followed all those steps that you have mentioned in above.

But scenario is we have to populate date in letter that attached in screenshot.

How can we achieve it ?

In our case HR pdf template is non fillable, we have to process backend dynamically for different users record.
