Hi,

I have to deactivate(set Active as false) to 1 notification in Washington release.

But I am facing issues(screenshot attached), stating - Item is read-only on its protection policy.

Can anyone help how to deactivate it ?

A read-only protection policy applies special protection to an application file that prevents it from being modified or deleted. Only ServiceNow employees can alter the protection policy of an application file, and then modify or delete it.

Above notification is in "Global" scope as well.

Make be you can raise a ticket with ServiceNow to check further.

Hi @Gaurav_S0107 as per Document, "Only a ServiceNow employee can alter the protection policy and then modify the application file or its related record. A ServiceNow employee cannot edit protected files without changing the policy designation first".
