Hi,
I have an Archive Rule that needs to be removed, not deactivated. It has no associated runs or archived records.
The system won't let me delete it nor the associated archive table.
There are no ACLs on the table nor Application File table. When trying to back out the update set, the system will show a message that it is unsafe to remove the records.
What can I do?
Thanks in advance!

Could be a version difference , Or something built in your client instance.
My PDI is on : glide-utah-12-21-2022__patch7a-09-28-2023
I couldn't find any delete acl on the table.

I just tried on a mainline instance(not pdi) and I cannot delete an archive rule there.
PDIs are learning instance so probably there it is allowed to delete archive rules.
Long shot but if you want to try , you can create an ACL on sys_archive table and see if it allows you to delete it then.

Hi Anurag,
Thanks! I tried your solution.
Won't work for Archive Rules nor Archive Tables unfortunately. Also found this: https://www.servicenow.com/community/incident-management-forum/delete-an-archive-table/m-p/2339835

You need to create a case with ServiceNow Customer Support in order to delete an Archive Rule. Refer below doc
