How to display variables on Approval Page of RITM

Need to display two variables on Approval Page which was created for that specific catalog item. During approval , approver will update the field and this will be saved in that variables.

Could anyone help on this?

Hi,

I believe the approver will need to navigate to the record which the approval is about. As far as being able to edit the field, that is probably going to require permission as the intent of the approval is to review the summary and approve or reject (such as using the business_stakeholder role). Allowing them to edit the record and save, may be considered a step outside the lines of just approving and you may want to ensure that doesn't cause a billing implication.

As per customer requirement, they are allowing to edit variables. how can we add catalog item variables in approval Page.(with out creating fields in sys approval table).
