Hi,
We have a requirement to display approver details in an sc_req_item report. However, when using a database view to join approval data, we are unable to retrieve catalog variables. Since the business expects approver details, catalog variables, and all related information in a single report, this approach does not fully meet the requirement.
Could you please advise on the best approach to include all these details in one report?
Thanks,
Pavithra.

Database view works.
Create a database view as in below screenshot
Don't click on Try It as the tables are huge.
Navigate to 'u_ritm_with_variables.FILTER' from left navigator
Apply filter as in below screenshot and then bring the columns as shown in below screenshot.
Group by number if required.
Apply filters in database view to shortdown the list.
Accept the solution and mark as helpful if it does, to benefit future readers.
Regards,
Sumanth

check this how the join happens in database view
reference: Showing RITM variable, in the list view of a report that is referencing sysapproval_approver table
