Last 3 months date ranges in Platform analytics filter

Hello Community,

 

I'm working with Problem Management Platform Analytics, which includes an interactive filter to apply queries based on the Opened date. When selecting the "Last 3 Months" option, the system returns a date range of 01‑10‑2025 to 31‑01‑2026.

 

However, based on ServiceNow's standard logic for relative dates from ServiceNow docs (link provided below), the expected range should be: 01‑10‑2025 to 16‑01‑2026 (where the end date aligns with the current/query date).

Has anyone encountered this behavior or knows what might be causing the end date to extend to the end of the month instead of the current date?

 

Any insights would be appreciated..
