When an itil user is proposing a new standard change template they will need to select the appropriate category. When searching for that category, they will be presented with the search select options list,
What I looking to know is how to go about hiding the Template Management and Standard Changes categories from being selectable options while leaving the other categories available for choosing?
Appreciate any guidance, feedback and insight.

Sachin,
When I did that to the Template Management option, that was removed from the template catalogue page too. That needs to be there so users can submit new, modify or retire standard change requests. I'm looking to be able to remove them from the list when the user submits a new standard change template request and doesn't know what category to select.

Category is not mandatory while submitting standard change template request.
Users can avoid populating categories during their standard change template request.

Sachin

Sachin,
Thank you for your input as you have made me realize that this will need to be a training point for the itil users submitting their standard change templates.
