Hi.
1. Go to Navigator. Type update sets. Click New on the top. Name the update set according to your wishes. Click on Submit And current for this. This would make the update set as the current update set that you're working on.
2.) Once the update set is created, create your ATF's and scripts . It would get captured automatically if it is the current update set.
3.) Once your update set is the current update set, go to the test you want to move. Make any small changes like a comma or a dot and then save. IT would save the changes to your update set. You can also use the move to update set UI action . That would also do the trick.
4.) For moving update sets, Complete the update set once all your work is done. There is a link of Export to XML in the update set. Clicking that would create an XML version of your update set.
On the instance you want to move, go to retrieved update sets from the navigator.
Import the XML you extracted. Preview the update sets for any errors. If no error found, commit the update set. This would move all the changes in the instance.
DO NOT RUN ATF's in PRODUCTION.
Please mark the answer helpful and correct if this answers your questions!

Hi,
You can create update sets and capture the ATF Test and the Test Steps in it.
You can then migrate them to the next instance Dev to Test and Test to Prod
Remember not to execute ATF in production instance
