How to mask the Card Data if the Incident Comments has it ?

Passing the work notes Comments via Json to a Third party. Before sending need to check if it has PII data like Card Number starts with eg: 2895-xxxxxx-xxxx . How can we check if the PII data is present in the work notes before sending and mask it/replace with xxxxxxx ? Can this be possible via Data Anonymization or any other way to do it ?
