I have a custom-scoped application that I created several years ago, which is still used by my clients. I had made a dashboard for this application with a lot of reports using the Core UI.
I started developing a workspace for my clients for this custom application, so that we can move to the new experience UI, and was wondering if there's a way to get my legacy Core UI Dashboard to show up on a workspace page?
I tried using the Migration Center to migrate the dashboard, and then tried to show it on a Dashboard template Page in UI Builder. However, when I keep my newly migrated dashboard as the default dashboard in the configurations, the output being shown is "Can't display this dashboard. The dashboard you were looking for was not found."
This dashboard does exist and I can see it from the Performance Analytics > Library > Dashboards list. Is there any way to configure a dashboard template page to show this old dashboard?
A new dashboard that I created in the Performance Analytics Experience does show up on this page with the relevant data though.
Any documentation/help on this would be extremely helpful!
Thank you in advance!

when you use Dashboards template page in UI builder it always require Platform Analytics -> Dashboard
it won't pick the old dashboard build using earlier method
Platform Analytics in your Workspace
Things you can do now
-> create new dashboard in Platform Analytics and add Data Visualizations to it
-> then add this newly created dashboard in Dashboards page in UI builder
Try this method shared and see if you can render your old dashboard in workspace landing page
Adding a Custom Classic UI Dashboard to the Service Operations Workspace Landing Page

Why it doesn’t show up is always a headache... 🙂
Core UI dashboards and Experience dashboards are different objects.
UI Builder / Workspaces only support Experience dashboards, so your migrated Core UI dashboard shows “Can't display this dashboard” even though it exists.
Recommended approach
Recreate or migrate the Core UI dashboard as an Experience dashboard.
You can reuse the same reports/widgets.
Once it’s an Experience dashboard, you can add it to Dashboard Template Pages or Workspace pages.
Remember: Migration Center alone doesn’t convert Core UI dashboards to Experience dashboards, which is why they don’t render in UI Builder.
Bottom line: Only Experience dashboards can appear in Workspaces; Core UI dashboards must be converted

Thank you so much for the response! You have mentioned that "Migration Center alone doesn’t convert Core UI dashboards to Experience dashboards, which is why they don’t render in UI Builder." Could you please let me know what else needs to be done to completely transform my Core UI dashboard to Experience dashboard?

Hey @Ankur Bawiskar ,
Thank you for the response. I migrated my old dashboard using the Migration Center and it is now in Platform Analytics > Library > Dashboards.
I selected this dashboard as the default dashboard in Dashboards template page in UI builder. However it still shows "Can't display this dashboard. The dashboard you were looking for was not found."
The post you sent looks pretty good! However, we are trying to migrate to the new experience as the old core UI functionalities might be limited in the future for new reports.
