Hi All,
I have a requirement where users should be able to delete their the saved filters.
Wiki says only administrators can delete the saved filters.
Also there is a acl where it says filter_admin role delete the filter which is not working as expected.
Is there a way that I can provides access for eg:ITIL user to delete the saved filters.
Regards,
kavya

Hi Paul,
I'm trying to follow your suggestion regarding the filter admin role and the 'Acccess to' tab. Checking the role I can only see: users with role, contains role, contained by, modules with role and apps with role. What am i missing?
Also does anyone know what the max number of personal filters a user can create and whether this is configurable?
Lastly what consideration should be taken before providing the filter_group role? I guess that some users may not like others adding filters for them without permission. I can see filter numbers being an issue if everyone could create global filters and I suppose that if too many users have the ability to create group filters the numbers might become unmanageable too? Are there other reasons to restrict this?

Open the context menu and navigate to 'Configure > Related Lists'. Add the related list 'Access to'.

There is no limit to the number of personal filters that can be created.

To mitigate this I recommend only giving filter_group to team leaders and filter_global to operational admins.
