How to remove the attachments from the scheduled email report table

Hi All, When we use Scheduled Email reports to send reports in an email to the users, sends the email with attachments.(pdf, csv, etc)  Is it possible to remove the attachments feature in the Scheduled reports. How do I achieve this?

The idea is, schedule the report email, with a link and not attaching any reports along with it. 

so that the users will get an email with the link which will be pointing to the report 

Any help would be appreciated.

To achieve this you can just configure an email notification with a link to the report. Standard reporting produces a live-view into the data, scheduled reporting exists to send snapshots. If you take the user to the platform to view a report then the data might be stale when the user accesses it.

Thank you so much for your response Lauri. I liked the idea of sending notification with the link. But only a few users who  would like to create, schedule and work on the reports. I have given them the role and used report_schedular but those reports have attachments, we do not want anyone sending attachments through the email.

I don't really understand why you would need a scheduled report if not for the attachment. Users can just set calendar events to remind them to log in and view the report. 

Instead of trying to break something in the platform just make users not able to schedule reports and create something new that fulfills your requirement whatever it is.
