How to resolve "App Engine Studio is not installed on this instance" issue?

I am trying to use my Tokyo PDI to build an app, but there is a banner that reads: "App Engine Studio is not installed on this instance. You can install App Engine Studio by activating the plugin on your instance"

I have painstakingly followed all the steps in the documentation. I have successfully installed and updated App Engine Studio and loaded demo data, and yet I'm still getting the message that App Engine Studio is not installed. Am I doing something wrong, or is it a bug? Once again, I have completely and successfully installed App Engine Studio.

Please see screenshots. Is there something else that needs to be done?

Hi @Keerthu_S , No. this has not been resolved. This is a bug and the banner is still appearing. I've tried the suggestions in this thread (Including just waiting for several weeks) and I've also used 4 different browsers, cleared my cache, recycled my login, uninstalled and re-installed APP Engine Studio, and a few other things. Nothing works. I'm able to use the Engine, but the banner will not go away. I don't think it ever will unless maybe I release my PDI and apply for a new one? But I'm not going to do that. All I can do is ignore the error banner.

Good morning, @Community Alums

If you recall from my initial, opening question; I have successfully installed AES and yes, it is in my navigator. This issue is about the banner across the top of the Developer login page that says AES is not installed. (See screenshot) I wanted to know if anyone in the community knows how to remove that banner.

Note: Days ago, I momentarily marked your answer as the solution because I thought the banner was gone, but it turns out that the banner was only momentarily not visible because the page had not fully loaded. My apologies for any confusion regarding that.

Hi @MH_Vent ,

This would take time, i have had the similar kind of a issue and another issue was although my PDI is in Utah but i find a banner which shows am still in tokyo.

Hi Sandeep,

It has been 2 weeks and the banner is still there. Clearing the browser cache doesn't work, and as of today using a brand new, fresh browser that I've never used before is also showing the banner. I do not believe it will go away. I'm convinced it's a bug that will last as long as I maintain this PDI. The only solution (non-solution) is to ignore it.

Clear your browser cache, Sometimes, the banner message can persist even after you have installed App Engine Studio due to a caching issue. Clearing your browser cache can help resolve this issue

Hi, Sankar.

I cleared the cache before and did it again today. Not only that, I signed on with a new browser that I've never used before (Firefox). Clearing the cache in Chrome doesn't work, and the banner is still there in my Firefox browser which I just downloaded and never used before for ServiceNow. Personally, I think that banner is there for eternity and there is no fix. Honestly, I'm convinced that it's a bug on ServiceNow's end. There is no solution that I can do as a user.
