How to restrict the knowledge articles in the Portal Search?

I need prevent an article from surfacing in search. Is there any OOTB option available .

For Record Producer OOTB no search field is there which we marked as true will not show articles in the search.

Do we have OOTB something similar to this where we can hide articles from search.

If not is it a good approach to create no search field on knowledge table also similar to record producer?

You can configure the search sources in the portal.

Also, you can use AI search to configure which knowledge bases, and articles should show up in the portal search.

Can you please elaborate more on AI search configuration. So my requirement is like I want to show only the knowledge articles for the portal which have the knowledge bases included as per 'm2m_sp_portal_knowledge_base' table configurations. I dont want to get the search results for restricted articles. Is that possible via AI search configuration.

I would also be interested in this feature, but it would be on a per-article basis in the same way as catalog items and record producers.

Use case:  we use the No Search option in catalog when we have an order guide, so the items aren't searchable standalone.

We are starting to reference links to KB articles from Items forms, and want users to find the articles only on the item form - not standalone.  This is so they have all information to either self-solve via the KB or to raise the ticket.
