How to search table on Service Portal by using Global Search.

Hi,

  I wanted to search table from global search on service portal. I have added table name in text search property and created new search group as well but still not able to search the result.

Please Refer the both attachments.

Hi DS,

 

Sorry , for the wrong response . So , you mean you have given the correct table name and even then you are not able to search your record.

 

Then do one thing go to the Search Source where you have defined table  u_student and verfiy what is the

Primary display field  it should be the one you are putting while searching (eg. number)  which you are using while searching only then you will be able to search what you want

 

And also note that you have done the changes as said in above answer by Vignesh
