How to send an email using REST API

The REST Email API has two methods. One to send a new email and one for retrieving record from email log.

I could not make the send API work. Do you know how to use it?

I am using an admin user to do this and through REST API Explorer.

thanks for this input. But can you please elaborate little more about ACL creation procedure? so that I will follow the same and resolve my issue regarding Rest Email API through REST API EXPLORER tool.
