How to set delegates to maintain group members?

HI Experts,

we allow assignment group managers to maintain the members of their groups.

OOB we do not see any way to delegate this also to other people ... any idea how to do?

Currently I think about adding a field to set the delegates within the group (sys_user_group) ... but as it should maybe be better added to the "delegation" section (sys_user_delegate) .... also including the time relevant for that delegation, I'm not sure..

How do you handle this?

Hi ,




As far as i undertood the requirement. you want to delegate some work to others for particular person. you can do it from the user record.



there is related list in user table(sys_user) and you can assign person who will work when particular person is on leave.

this is what I meant, that is in fact should be there ... BUT it is not working OOB. If you are able to maintain group members .. and set a delegate .. he can NOT maintain the members. ;-(
