How to set my instance preferences to show date and time formats on forms.

Hello all,

I am new to ServiceNow and I am trying to set my preferences to show date and time formats on forms. Please where do I start to get access to User Menu ,  Preferences  and Display?

Please follow the below steps to set the Date and Time formats on forms:

1. Click on your User Profile > Preferences > Accessibility.

2. You will get the below screen to set the 'Date and Time formats on forms':

How to set my instance preferences to show date and time formats on forms.

There are 2 ways which we can achieve this. 

Solution : 1

1.Click on your Profile icon on top right corner.  

2.Click on "Preferences"

3.Click on "Display"

4.Click on "Date and Time Format" list box and

5.Select the 3rd option "YYYY-MM-DD 09:00:01"

Solution : 2

If the above is not working for you, follow the below steps. 

1.Click on your Profile icon on top right corner.  

2.Click on "Preferences"

3.Click on "Accessibility"

4. Toggle the button to on "Show date and time formats on forms"
