How to set the default assignee uses group table as assigned to in TASK. What is use of default assignee in group table

I need to set the default assignee which is populated in group need to set in assigned to filed in task.

Hi Nitin,

Usually assigned to user is always a member of the assignment group selected on task.

Can you please explain you want to set default assignment group or something else?

Hi Nitin,

I haven't tried that.

But it seems whenever this group is set as default group via some assignment rule configuration the assigned to user will be set with that value

Hi Nitin,

I just tried this

1) Created assignment rule on incident table and set the Group "Capacity Mgmt"

2) Now for this group I have given Default Assignee as User "Athena Cantu"

When incident is created the group is set to above and the Assigned to user is set with Default Assignee
