How to set the default sorting in the reference field for all the user in custom scope?

Hi Community,

I want to set default sorting in  the reference list based on ASCENDING order of 'ORDER' field:-

I tried with the solution mentioned on below link:-

Also, tried with the below Business rules:-

1. Before Insert/Update BR with condition- Name is iogc_choice_definitions.db.order

2.Before Insert/Update BR with condition-Name is iogc_choice_definitions.db.order.direction

But neither of the solution is working.

Could someone please help me on this?

Hi @Ankita Kolhe 

So when user close the reference pop up window & again opens the reference list, then default sort should be applied(see screenshot 1) instead of the sort did by user(screenshot 2).

Atul: I think this will not work my gut feeling, reason can be sort is changed already after load and it may be some cache it keeping it like this.
