How to set time zone to Indian Standard Timings in a Date/Time field.

Hi,

I am working on a form, where I would be requiring a Date/Time field. But the default value it's taking is of Pacific Standard timezone.How do I change this timezone to Indian Standard Time.

HI,

The time zones in the gear icon based on the choices in the time zone field in the user table. To customise it, right click the field label -> show choice list. In that list you can enable additional time zones.

You can set the column value 'inactive' to false to make it appear in the list.

I am working in a scoped application, so is there a way that I can make the Time Zone changes in the application itself i.e.. all the users using this application will be having that particular time zone.

If the users are bouncing in/out of the app/scope it may not be easy, perhaps you could do something with the session data but identifying every scope change could messy. Can you clarify your business drivers so the scenario is better understood?
