How to Setup Sending Email Notification to ATF Admin after Cloud Runner Finishes Running ATF Tests.

Hi All,

Maybe someone out there has done this before and can give me a hand on how to send out an email notification to the ATF Admin running ATF Tests/Suites in 'Cloud Runner', after Cloud Runner finishes running the ATF test(s), similar to how it is done when running 'Test Generator', in which  you can enter an email before it runs to send the ATF Test results after it finishes running. 

I was planning to use a business rule/email notification combination using table 'sys_atf_test_suite_result', but I was told it does not seem to work, as Cloud Runner is executed in the cloud using its own external instance.

I am trying to run Cloud Runner in ServiceNow Vancouver.

Hi Sumanth,

I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but I was able to test it yesterday.

I checked the URL link article, and that seems to be the only option available.

To test, I ran an ATF Suite test in Cloud Runner, and entered my personal and company emails in the 'Wish list', but I did not get any response after the test finished running.

Do I need to create an outbound email connection?

I saw something about creating a Guerrilla Outbound Mail, but since this is running in the ServiceNow Instance and not in our company instance(s), I am not sure how to proceed so it can send out the atf-result email after the ATF Suite finishes running.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I assume that this is the out-of-the-box functionality I heard a co-worker mention.

I will play with this solution next week, as I will be on vacation until next Wednesday, and will then get back to you with an update.

I thought there was a something similar to the email notification mechanism used 'Test Generator', but the end result should be the same.
