How to show '$' next to price on a catalog item on service portal

Hello - 

I have a catalog item which contains pricing, and on the service portal when i am ready to check out the numbers appear next to price but not the actual '$' sign. How can i incorporate this? please see image

Are you using the SC Catalog Item Deprecated widget?  Submit and Add to cart where move to the right of the item start at least with London and it is showing the $ sign with the price when using the new OOB SC Catalog Item widget.

Hi Charles,

Open sc_cat_item portal page in widget editor, in the HTML code you will find "{Price}:" this text, add $ after colon in this text.

Hi Charles,

I see there exists a '$' symbol placed on line 52 of the HTML part of the Widget: SC Catalog Item. Can you confirm if the widget being used is OOB or has been cloned withe the line that holds '$' being modified so as to make the symbol hidden.

Hi Charles,

remove 'SC Catalog item deprecated' from Page and add 'SC Catlog item' Widget.

Then you will see as below
