How to update data in an excel template attachment using servicenow scripts?

Hello Experts,

I understand that by using an Excel Parser I am able to read the data in it.

But my requirement when is after checking the data in the Excel Sheet in an attachment if required I might be adding a additional rows by pulling the data from one of the tables.

Kindly let me know how to script these updates.

What do you mean? You want to update an excel from data in ServiceNow? Just make another export of the correct data in the filter and replace the attachment.

It is an excel template which needs to be updated based on which the drop down changes. Is there any possibility to update the excel template?
