How to upload an attachment to the sys_attachment table through the portal.

Hello,

I'm trying to upload an image using the upload button. Once the file is uploaded and I click update, the file should go and be uploaded into the sys_attachment table. How can I achieve this?

attachments are always stored on some record or attachment field and not directly in sys_attachment

where should it be stored? that's your business requirement and check with customer for this.
