How to use Response template in chat channel

Currently, there are 3 channels available for using a Response template i.e. chat, email and Form.
If response template channel is email, it means we can use this response template in sending emails from agent workspace view using the compose email feature.
If response template channel is Form, we can use it in form view or native view and update the journal fields as required
But I could not find how we can use the chat template channel. Is this only used when response template's table is selected as "interaction"? If not, how it can be used in other tables?
