Hello @RimitaC ,
1)Many users faced this issue due to a temporary outage or maintenance on the ServiceNow Developer Portal. In such cases, the page starts working automatically after some time.
2)Several community members fixed the blank page issue by clearing browser cache and cookies, then reopening the browser and accessing the site again.
3)Using Incognito / Private mode helped some users, as it avoids old cookies, cached data, and browser extensions that may block the page.
4)Some users reported that the page did not load in Chrome, but worked fine in Microsoft Edge or Firefox.
5)Enabling third-party cookies in the browser settings resolved the issue for many users, as the developer portal depends on them for authentication.
6)A few users mentioned that old or corrupted bookmarks caused the blank page. Manually typing
https://developer.servicenow.com
instead of using a saved bookmark worked for them.
7)When the portal page did not load, users were still able to access their developer instance directly using the instance URL (https://devxxxxx.service-now.com/login.do).

Yeah, that blank page on developer.servicenow.com is a known annoyance and it’s usually browser/session-related, not the site being down. Let’s walk through this cleanly.
Most Common Causes (and Fixes)
- 1. Cached cookies / corrupted session (MOST LIKELY)
ServiceNow Dev Portal is very sensitive to cookies.
Fix (recommended):
- Open a new Incognito / Private window
- Go directly to:
If it loads there → it’s 100% a cookie issue.
Permanent fix:
- Clear cookies only for:
- servicenow.com
- developer.servicenow.com
- Restart browser
- Browser compatibility issue
Some versions of Chrome/Safari block required scripts.
Try:
- Chrome (latest)
- Firefox (works best with Dev Portal)
- Edge
🚫 Safari is the most problematic for this page.
- Blocked scripts / extensions
Ad blockers and privacy extensions often break the portal.
Disable temporarily:
- AdBlock / uBlock
- Ghostery
- Privacy Badger
- Corporate security browser plugins
Then reload.
- Corporate network / VPN restriction
Very common on work laptops.
Test quickly:
- Disconnect VPN
- Try from a personal network or mobile hotspot
If it loads → your company firewall is blocking required assets.
- Direct login workaround (works surprisingly often)
Try going straight to login:
Then after login:
If it’s STILL blank
Open DevTools → Console and look for:
- Blocked by CORS
- Failed to load resource
- 403 / 401 errors
That confirms a network or extension issue.
If my response has resolved your query, please consider giving it a thumbs up and marking it as the correct answer!
