Since this system will use Event Management to generate Events → Alerts → Incidents in ServiceNow instances, it also requires access to ServiceNow's CMDB for Topology Correlation.
What is the best practice for topology data synchronization with Huawei IMOC?
Should they directly target the ServiceNow CMDB REST API to retrieve all relevant data, or should a custom view/query be provided? For instance, the query could return each Application Service along with its impacted CIs, not only by following mapped CIs but also by including L2 connections for network components, printers, and similar assets.
