I'm on a new machine. I've uploaded my bookmarks into the Chrome toolbar. One of them was to get into https://developer.servicenow.com/ . I've logged into that. Another was to fire my instance: https://developer.servicenow.com/app.do#!/instance?wu=true . From here, I click on my instance https://devXXXXX.service-now.com/ . From here I am asked for a username. I don't know this because the credentials were entered through the Chrome browser on my old machine. I've found out that I am to enter "admin" as the username here. But then I am prompted to enter an email address to verify. I entered my email address (the only one I've ever entered into anything on ServiceNow), and I am given the message Invalid response, cannot verify user (admin). Number of attempts: 1. Try again
I have no idea what to do here. Please help.

Daniel, you need to click "action" and then "reset password" from the developer page. Don't navigate to your dev instance.
I posted a screenshot very early on.

I just logged out of anything I was logged into.
Then I went here: https://developer.servicenow.com/ . I was prompted to enter a Username(email) and a Password. I entered both and am now successfully logged into that site.
Then I went to https://developer.servicenow.com/app.do#!/instance?wu=true Here, I am shown the following page:
I click on the shown URL https://devXXXXX.service-now.com/ . That takes me here:
This portion was automated on my last machine, so I only saw this screen once many months ago, and thus have no recollection as to what the password might be. So I click on "Forgot Password?", which brings me here:
I enter the same one and only email address I've ever used for anything in ServiceNow, and I am shown this screen:
I click the "Back" button in the browser, bringing me to the previous page. I then enter "admin" in the Username field. That takes me here:
In the Email field I enter the only address I've ever entered into ServiceNow and that takes me here:

Hi Daniel,
As Adam has mentioned please reset your password via the developer portal. The default username will be 'admin', and please use the password you are supplied during the reset.
Regards,
Brad
