I do not find My Company record anymore. In companies (companies view) - Why all records not found?

Hi,

I casually wanted to modify my company's logo and title, but I couldn't find anymore the My Company record.

In fact, I do not find none of the companies records.

Version of the instance: Fuji Patch 3.

Anyone faced before this issue?

When I try to change the type of the field Country from Reference to String it gives me warning:

Type unchanged for field "Country". Cannot convert from Reference to String.

Record not found

and I get the same situation (record not found and black screen).

Hi Skender,

Just deactivate this BR "Validate type change" in your instance and try changing the dictionary type. Once done activate the BR.

NOTE: Try this on dev as it may impact the previous records data which holds the country value.

I have the same Issue, and i deactivate the Business Rule "Validate type change" but i dont know how to change this parameter "in your instance and try changing the dictionary type. Once done activate the BR.". can you guide me please.

The blank screen would be the result of the country field not having a target (Reference). So the change is not successful.

You could attempt to load up the field from another Instance into an Update Set and move it across to this Instance. A simple export/import would not be sufficient as it will only change the Dictionary record and not the physical field on the database.

Another thing you can try is to clear out the Default value when attempting this change.
